Residence Permit For Victims of Human Trafficking
For foreigners with strong suspicions of being victims or potential victims of trafficking, Provincial Authorities may issue a residence permit valid for thirty days. This permit is granted to allow individuals to recover and consider their options, including cooperation with authorities. Residence permits granted for the purpose of providing time for recovery and consideration may be extended in increments of up to six months each, depending on the safety, health, or special circumstances of the victim.
